Two delightful cottages (1 sleeps 2; 1 sleeps 6) means if you are after a romantic break away or a family holiday, we have a cottage to suit you! And they are both dog friendly!

Set on our 12 acre Welsh small holding farm with a few horses, ducks and chickens. Pant Yr Yn is to be found in the heart of some of the most beautiful countryside just at the edge of the splendid scenic Preseli Hills in North Pembrokeshire offering breath taking views from coast to countryside.

Don’t leave your dog at home!

We love to welcome you with your dog(s) to Pant Yr Yn. Here are a few of our dog friendly features!

+ Large fenced field for lots of off lead games with your dog;

+ Fully enclosed cottage garden (NOTE: 4ft fence);

+ Dogs allowed on sofas and beds (please bring your own throws/bedding);

+ No limit on dog numbers – if you are happy you will all fit, we are happy too!;

+ Fabulous off lead walk from the door.

+ We provide dog towels if you need them;

+ Outside dog kennel

+ Short drive (under 2 miles) to the Preseli hills

+ Short drive (nearest beach 10 miles at Poppet Sands)

+ Nearest pub is dog friendly – and you will find most businesses welcome dogs.

Things to do in the cottage

Because we are so rural, we don’t have fast wifi (1MB max)- so download a few films before you come or use our DVD player for movie nights around the log fire. We do provide lots of board-games, playing cards, and jigsaws. That’s if you have any energy left for a family game! Worried about the weather? Well, we have a mini games table in the laundry if you need space for a few games inside. Otherwise, don your wellies and take a sheltered walk in the local woods! And yes, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer for the inevitable wet clothes.

What's on Locally

There is plenty to see and do for all the family… From coastal walks to countryside activities, Parks and Historic properties, Castles, and Iron Age Forts, Pembrokeshire offer them all. We are in the heart of the countryside and only 5 minutes from the Splendid Preseli Hills, with its miles of walks and amazing views. Just a 20 minute drive and you are at wonderful sandy beaches and miles of coastal path walks.

We live at the small holding with our family so you can find us on hand to help and assist you with your needs. Our knowledge is available to help you find the delights of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. A warm welcome awaits you after your journey with Fresh Flowers and Welsh cakes or Bara Brith on the table, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. A list of pubs/restaurants to eat out including Dog Friendly ones, places to explore and visit and at the end of your day you have a cosy, warm place to return to.
